Chevrolet Malibu ECO

Based on the all-new 2013 Malibu sedan, Chevrolet Malibu ECO comes with eAssist system which uses a state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery and an electric motor-generator to enable regenerative braking electric assist and start-stop functionality.

Unfortunately Chevy does not mention yet about the Chevrolet Malibu ECO prices. However, they will release the pricing information for the Chevrolet Malibu ECO on summer 2011 when the model goes on sale in nearly 100 countries on six continents.

Chevrolet Malibu ECO has been revealed at the New York International Motor Show. As have been said by Chevy that the car is the most fuel-efficient midsize model they have ever built. With an Ecotec 2.4-liter combustion engine mated to a Hydra-Matic 6T40 six-speed automatic, Chevrolet Malibu ECO may develops 180 horsepower (134 kW) and is able to offer a fuel economy up to 26 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.
